Marine Board Meets May 20 In Salem
The Oregon State Marine Board will meet Thursday, May 20, in Salem, to
consider a number of issues from a proposed speed change on a portion of
Emigrant Lake to enlarging a boating restriction zone below Bonneville
Dam. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the Marine Board Conference Room,
435 Commercial Street NE, Suite 400.
The meeting is in a facility that is accessible to persons with disabilities.
Persons needing assistance to participate in this meeting due to a disability

days prior to the meeting.
The meeting agenda follows:

Emigrant Lake (Jackson County) Speed Rule - Consider request to reduce
the speed on two branches of Emigrant Lake to 5 mph for safety reasons.

Columbia River (Multnomah County) below Bonneville Dam - Consider U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers request to extend "boating restricted zone" at
new fish bypass structure below dam.

Floating Home Moorage Policy - Consider policy on how Marine Board staff
will comment on newly proposed waterway structures that may affect boating
and recreational navigation.
