OYCC Grant Requests Approved

The Oregon State Marine Board approved six challenge grants to the Oregon Youth Conservation Corps for projects will benefit motorized boating facilities around the state. The board met via phone conference Tuesday, April 4.

OYCC has been an active partner with the Marine Board for 12 years. Through the program, youths learn skills constructing a variety of boating access facilities. They also receive training in water and boating safety. They have completed dozens of projects across Oregon waterways.

The Marine Board approved $58,903 for six projects. Projects include:
