Marine Board Meets in Portland
The Oregon State Marine Board will meet Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004, at the Portland Expo Center. Among other items, the Board will consider policies and procedures to implement new statutes regarding removal of abandoned boats.
The meeting will be held in Hall D and will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. People planning to attend the meeting should contact the Marine Board at (503) 373-1405 x243 for specific information. The meeting agenda follows:
- Director's report
- Consideration of policies and procedures to implement new Oregon Revised Statute for removal of abandoned boats.
- Briefing on Washington/Oregon charter and guide reciprocity issues.
- Education / Information program report
- Law Enforcement program report
- Facility program report: The Board will consider grant requests from Depoe Bay and the City of West Linn.
