Marine Board Meets in Salem April 5
The Oregon State Marine Board will consider funding for three proposed facility projects during their next regular meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 5, in Salem.
The meeting will be held at the Oregon State Marine Board office in Salem located at 435 Commercial St NE, Suite 400. The meeting will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. Agenda items include:
• Columbia River Pilots Association- a presentation on right-of-way issues and the “Make Way” safety information campaign
• Report by SOLV- the board will act on a proposed increase in the Adopt-A-River program
• Boating Facilities Projects - three facility projects will be brought to the board for consideration at this meeting. They are:
• Keizer Rapids- grant request for land acquisition
• Barton Park- grant request to cover increased costs
• Oregon Youth Conservation Corp- grant request for boating related projects
The meeting facility is accessible for persons with disabilities. Persons wishing to address the Board on non-agenda items may do so during a designated period at the start of the meeting.
