Marine Board Meets in Salem
The Oregon State Marine Board will meet Wednesday, December 14, 2005, at the Oregon State Marine Board office in Salem. Among other items, the Board will consider rules to implement a new statute requiring guides and passengers to wear life jackets in Class III and higher whitewater.
The meeting will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. The meeting agenda is as follows:
• Director's report
• Consideration of policies and procedures to implement Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR) 250 Division 16.
• Education / Information program report
• Law Enforcement program report
• Facility program report
The meeting facility is accessible for persons with disabilities.
