Marine Board Approves Grant Amendments
For Immediate Release
The Marine Board held a conference call meeting on Monday, May 21 to discuss amending round one contract awards that the Board previously approved.
The following grants were amended:
- City of Harrisburg -Harrisburg ramp, floats and gravel bar removal. The Board approved $145,000 to remove the gravel bar and complete construction on the ramp.
- Columbia County –J.J. Collins Marine Park East Transient Tie-up Floats. The Board approved $25,000 to complete addition work that was outside the original scope of the contract.
- City of West Linn –Cedar Oak Dredging. The Board approved $70,000 for more extensive dredging and to make the launch ramp accessible to boaters.
- Linn County –Calkins Park New Boating Facility Development. The Board approved $251,000 to cover unforeseen pre-construction requirements such as environmental studies, utility relocations, and other items.
