Marine Board Meets in Madras September 27
 
 
 
 
For Immediate Release
 
The Oregon State Marine Board will conduct their quarterly board meeting on September 27 in Madras.  The meeting will be held at the County Annex A –Administration Building, located at 66 SE D Street and will begin at 8:30 a.m.       
           
The agenda items include the following:
  • Director’s Report
  • Reciprocity Rules for Outfitters/Guides on the Columbia, upriver from the Longview-Rainier Bridge
  • Consideration of Ocean Charterboat Rules
  • Policy and Planning Staff Report
  1. Forebay closure at Round Butte Dam
  2. “Watch Your Wake” Willamette River campaign update
  • Consideration of Rulemaking Requests
  1. Siltcoos Lake, Lane County –Request for “Slow No Wake -Max 5 MPH” zone near Camp Baker.
  2. Siletz River, Lincoln County –Request to ban all motorboats above Hee Hee Illahe Park.
  • Facility Program Grant Requests
  • Facility Program Report
  • Law Enforcement Program Report
  • Education/Information Program Report
