Marine Board to Meet in Wilsonville April 7
 
            The Oregon State Marine Board has a full agenda with several rules to consider that may affect some boaters this season.  The meeting will be held at 10 a.m. on April 7, 2008 at the Wilsonville Public Library,8200 SW Wilsonville Road in Wilsonville.
            After three years of hearing from homeowners, wakeboat operators and other groups, Marine Board staff will report on the results from the latest wake working group and recommend the Board approve consideration of rulemaking on portions of the Lower Willamette River in Clackamas and Yamhill Counties.
            Other agenda items include the following:
·        Wake group report for the lower Willamette River
·        Reinstatement of speed limit on Diamond Lake
·        Request for rulemaking by the City of Siletz to prohibit motorboats on a portion of the Siletz River
·        Consideration to adopt rule for Boating Safety/Education Assistance Program
