| Marine Board Approves Boating Facility Grants |

The Oregon State Marine Board met for their quarterly meeting in Bend, on October 13. Among the many agenda items, the Board approved four boating facility grant requests:
- METRO –M. James Gleason Ramp Replacement Project. The grant was amended to increase the budget and scope of the original grant in order to complete the wave attenuation wall. The Board approved $100,000 in state boater funds combined with $100,000 in Federal Boating Infrastructure Grant funds and $50,000 in applicant cash for a total of $250,000.
- Port of Hood River –Columbia River. Replace the existing vessel waste collection system with a combination pumpout/portable dump station and utilities. The Board approved $11,250 in state boater funds combined with $33,750 in Clean Vessel Act funds and $4,000 of in-kind contributions for a project total of $49,000.
- Crook County Parks and Recreation –Ochoco Reservoir. Construct and install a floating restroom, complete with anchoring system and travel trailer. The Board approved $32,500 in state boater funds combined with $97,500 in Clean Vessel Act funds and $1,320 of in-kind contributions for a project total of $131,320.
- Embarcadero Marina –Yaquina Bay. Replace the existing vessel waste collection facility located at the Embarcadero Marina with a combination pumpout/portable dump station and utilities. The Board approved $11,250 in state boater funds combined with $33,750 in Clean Vessel Act funds for a project total of $45,000.
