| Interim Director Appointed by the Marine Board |

The Marine Board met via teleconference on Wednesday, January 27 to accept Director Paul Donheffner’s resignation effective January 31, to discuss the appointment of an interim State Marine Director and review and adopt hiring standards to be used for the selection of the next State Marine Director.
Randy Henry, Marine Board Operations and Policy Analyst, was appointed as the Interim Director. Henry was instructed by the Board to complete specific activities and tasks for the agency during the next 60 to 90 days. “Randy’s experience and dedication ensures the agency will keep forging ahead through this period,” said Trey Carskadon, Marine Board Chair.
The recruitment process for the new Director’s position begins immediately by the Department of Administrative Services, Human Resources Recruitment Division.
